Was I gone long?Lol ! Feels like it's been quite some time since I made my last post. Pardon me hor. I've been rather busy these couple of days. Really couldn't find the time to update.
O ! I've had a great week ! Thank you very much.
(hehe. to you guys who were wondering la)
School's pretty much the same, but I find the days just flying by ! Haha...
This post should be short. I'm just doing a little catching up and I'm actually saving all the good pictures and contents for my next post.
Really wanted to compile everything into one long post, but at last decided against it. Cannot too long never post ma...
(i really do do do do do so treasure your invaluable attention)
(lol ! it feels like i'm reminding you of this each time i post)
Hm. My dad brought my brother and I to dinner last night. Were wondering where to go and ended up in Clark Quay.
Walked around for abit and had dinner in one of the restaurants sitting by the Singapore River.
Waaa. I tell you. Those people there, see until ang moh, like see gold like that la. They'll rush up and shove their menu into them...
Okay la. Let's not go into that.
Let's take a look at what I ate !
The satay was good. Can tell right? Hehe. So golden. But, it's like daylight robbery. One stick of satay is like $1. So expensive. Twice the price of what people charge outside. Tsk.
Scallop ! Actually, I don't really see what's all the hoo-ha about it. Never really liked it leh... since I was a child. Tasts too ocean-ish to me. Lol !
Oh. Here's my favourite dish for the night. Crab. That's sweet and sour sauce. Thought it looked a little like curry. It was sooooo hmmmmmmm hmmmmmmmmm. Very succulent. Like got that... toi toi (think springy sensation) feel. Toi toi !
Haha... eh. Don't curse me la. Lol. It was THAT good. Plus I also only get these sort of treats once in awhile. So, =).
But then don't go there eat la. They really very cheat money one. Pui.
Here's a photo a took with my dad and brother. Ooooh ! Why o why?! Why do I have to be the shortest in the family?
Hehee. Okay la. I'll spare you from my melodrama for this once.
(i've already decided to have an abundance of it on my next post !)
But I really love this photo la. I miss my Dad already.
Lol. You know, I'm always reminded of myself, when I was a child.
Then when my Dad would wake me up in the mornings when the sky was still dark. I'd go down to the toilet and find toothpaste already squeezed neatly on my toothbrush and carefully placed on the sink.
Ya. He was one of those fathers who would do that for me. Of course, I was only like, primary two la. But still... haha.
I'll sip the milo that he brewed for me and wait for the school van to arrive.
When it did, he'd hurry me out of the house and trudge right next to me carrying my backpack, open the school van's door, have me properly sitted inside, place my bag next to me, say bye and shut the door.
Hai ! Feels
SO long ago. But I remember it as clear as day.
Back then, I remember telling him of this group leader I had, who always bullied me during chinese lesson. She'd tell the teacher that I'm copying her work when I clearly didn't. Really disliked her then la.
(hmp ! i still remember her to this day ! evil woman)
I remember my dad telling me something like, " why don't tell your teacher !".
And I remember myself being extremely glad when he said that.
Lol !
I even remember, there was once, super long ago, my dad would ask me how many friends I made since I've been in school. And I'd count... and count... and count. My logic was that if I was in a class, then I would have 40 friends (primary school one class got 40 people one ma). So therefore, if we switched classes, it would be an additional 40 friends ! Hehee.
Ya, this was my logic and I actually counted when I was a kid.
Then I'd go on to tell my dad that I had a grand total of 100 friends or whatever the amount was then la.
Lol. He'd chuckle. But now think back, so childish of me la.
LOL !Hai !!! Gone are those times la. When I'd have this conversations with him. Where I really really tell him what's going on and have no qualms of what his reaction might be. Or his opinion.
Nowadays, like, when he asks how's school, I'd probably go,
" er. Okay la. Hehee. Quite okay. Hmm... ya lo. ".
Hai. We're all like that ba?
I know all this is rather irrelevant. But I just wanted to share how great a Dad I have.
I HAVE A GREAT FATHER !Ah ! Okay la. Read already so sad. Lol.
I'll end here. Remember to await my next post leh.
It's going to be wonderful ! I shall get to writing it when I'm free ! Which will be quite soon I do think. Hehe.
Bye bye !
