Welcome to my blog !

Hey guys !

Created this space years and years ago thus do forgive
me if it comes off as extremely cheesy. And the incredibly
tacky name. Haha, I get chills everytime I lay eyes on it.
Too lazy to change things though !

I love to write, so have kept myself updating over the years.
I hope you guys enjoy reading me ! ♥

    The big two oh.

    12:28 PM

    Hello hello !

    Christmas has just passed.

This year's went by pretty okay, but I'm not here for Christmas but a much bigger occasion !

By far the most spectacular event of the year, my birthday.

I lovelovelove this occasion because it's really the only day I get to visualize and witness my loved ones running around, pulling their hair out and parting with their hard earned money- all in an attempt to put a smile on my face !

    HAHAHA !

It shows that they really care.

Not that I didn't know that before, it's just further proof.

    HAHAHA !

And for the record, I lovelovelove you guys too.

Before the night of my birthday, met the darling girls (or what's left of them minus dear elaine and ziqi) at KPO for a simple dinner.

My bad. I don't think it's the best place to celebrate a birthday what with the cramped surroundings and lack of tables and service.

I just always felt like having a meal there and, to pacify me, we did !

    Company made it better anyway.

I can't even remember how many birthdays I've spent with them already. 7? 8?

    It's practically a tradition.

The picture's not too enticing I know, but I thought the food was surprisingly good.

    And my cake !

I always get cakes like this ! Kiddy kiddy one.

But they actually decorated this one themselves so awwwwww. Super touched.

And in case you're wondering about the monkey, yes, they're always calling me monkey.

Ever since secondary school. Siying has always been faithful to my endeeeearing nickname and it ranges from monkey, monkey head and monkey princess.

    Why?

Well. I can only think it's because they feel that monkeys are the cutest things in our animal kingdom.

Yup. Pretty sure that's it. Ahahahha.

This is the only shot I took of my presents this year.

    And us !

It's always us four accompanying each other these days booohoooohooo ! Glad both Ziqi and Elaine's returning next year ! For good hopefully.

    . . . . . . . . . . . .

And then for part two of my celebration.

After the dinner, I hurried home to pack my bags for a trip with Ruizhang !

The new stuff I bought to bring along for the trip.

Ah. Everytime an occasion's round the corner, I give myself an excuse to shop more than I already do.

I even bought two of the same pieces see ! Crazy right.

I knew Ruizhang was supposed to bring me somewhere. I also knew it would be somewhere nearby cause it was just a little getaway. I had my exams after the trip so I had to bring my books and notes along.

    That part really sucked.

I didn't know where we were off to until I saw the destination flashing on the screen !

I was a tad disappointed it was Phuket though because, because I wanted to go to BKK with him too !!! To shop till we dropped.

But it was fortunate too cause if we had, I might have failed my papers. Hahahaha.

    Take off... ...

    and we're there !

I once told him that I thought a real vacation should consist of a beautiful beach, sunset, and an equally beautifully hotel.

The sweet boy remembered and it was exciting (and also pretty nerve wrecking) not knowing which hotel it was and what it looked like !

    Hehe.

He must have had a pretty hard time picking this one out cause I thought the last resort we stayed in Bali was drop-dead gorgeous. Ahhhhh nostalgia !

And here we are settling the paperwork !

    The receptionist was really pretty.

    And so was the resort.

    First look at our room.

It was a pretty generous room, really spacious, lovely furnishing and an awesome bathroom.

I'm always excited about the bathrooms.

Anyways, during our trip there, we were in this dreamlike state.

The place was kind of tranquil, away from the city, town, everything.

I think it cost like $30 to take a cab out to eat, which meant $60 to and fro. What in the world. And I didn't even know what restaurants were out there so we opted to stay in the hotel for the two nights we were there.

It was definitely the SLACKEST holiday I had ever been to, which was pretty aweesooooome.

Most of the time we just ate, slept, swam, ran around the beach abit (the sand's hot and there were crabs scurrying around you see), slacked, had a snack, layed by the pool, ate, slept, woke up, watched tv, ate, slept.

    And it goes on.

It's quite a heady experience, no headaches, zero stress.

Out to lunch after a proper change of attire.

The resort hugs this private beach and we went to check it out.

I ordered pizza which cheated my feelings by looking so good while he had this wonderful burger and I felt regretful the whole time.

    Hahahaha.

And after what I think was a nap which turned out to be a very long sleep, us sleepyheads woke up to head out to dinner.

    Seriously, eat sleep, eat sleep.

Plus I am a pig. Note how I messed up the toilet in just a few hours.

I liked this dress so much !

Liked. My faithfulness to my clothes lasts about all three minutes but I never like to admit that.

See what I mean by heady?

I wanna sleep just looking at it.

The restaurant seriously looked like that. All orangey and musky with the sea breeze and salty air.

The waiters handed us this menu a few times there ! They have different versions which differs in language.

Heheheheheheee. *waves airily* It's okay it's okay. I like the misunderstanding.

HAHAHA ! Okay. I am ridiculous and extremely vain.

    English please.

I'm always craving fries. With mayonnaise. Lots and lots of it.

Before the dinner, I remembered forgetting to take something and Ruizhang quickly offered to go back to the room to take it.

(hahahahaaha. i'm always doing that, and he always falls for it offering to go get it for me. hahahahaa)

(okay la. i'm not really serious. i don't mean to make him do it ! he's just chivalrous ! thank you((: )

Anyways, I didn't suspect a thing, but it was only after everything that he told me he went back to the room to collect my birthday present and to talk to the staff about my birthday cake. He had left them an email stating it was my birthday before our arrival.

Luckily for him ! Hehehe. They had already prepared a cake for me on the house.

Bu ran. See how he's going to go out of the hotel to find a cake.

And from beneath the table, he whisks it out.

    That sneaky little.

I love it anyway. (: Thank youu.

    Next morning's breakfast.

Excited to be making pancakes for the first time.

One ang moh lady was actually standing next to me gesturing to show me how to do it.

I'm such an amatuer. The pancake turned out looking funny.

    That's Ruizhang's pancake.

    ♫♪♫ I like big butts and I cannot lie ~ ♫♪♫

What? You don't know this song? It's MC HAMMER !

Ahahahahahaha. Sorry, couldn't help it. That song always cracks me up. Feel like I'm getting kind of pudgy really. Beneath all those clothing... I'm really. Kind of fat. Must be all that mayonnaise.

    )):

Okay la. I know the photo abit gross. HAHAHAHAHAA.

    Cabanas.

There were these little crabs running around everywhere and it was kind of freaky.

Predictably, Ruizhang attempted to run around to try catching them. Boys.

    After lunch, we had dinner.

    Eat eat eat.

My failed attempt to pull a Dexter.

After all that eating, sun, sand, sleeping, eating, sleeping, watching movies, eating, watching movies, sleeping, it was time to leave.

On a sidenote, I was so inspired by the movie Bride Wars. Second time watching it ! :D

It's so nice to have a manslave.

    Heheheee.

    ...

    ...

    Just kidding laaaaaa.

Think this lagoon's supposed to be filled during high tide.

And our final food bill during check out.

The meals were on an average of $60 each !

And on to the next hotel !

Yes, I put that bow clip there.

    New clip I bought !

Waiting for the food to arrive in the unforgiving weather at a recommended restaurant.

I know it looks like I'm wearing the same thing everyday, but it's really because we didn't take much photos !!! Lol. Excuses.

    His favourite pose.

Most of the food photos we had in town didn't look too appetizing. So I didn't bother posting them up.

Loved the pad thai though ! Super tangy. Had it twice ! Yum.

    The boy looking desolate.

    You need a hug !

    Hehe.

Question that just popped into my head.

Is this one pair of footsteps, or two?

    Checking out the nightlife.

The girlboys there looked pretty hot. Some of them were actually very pretty !

I think Ruizhang's got a thing for them.

    Eh? Eh??

    (:

Early next morning, we visited Phiphi island.

My camera's screen died here. For the rest of the trip I had to snap photos blindly.

Boys. You can never trust them too much.

    Beef. Tsk tsk goes Siying.

Absolutely adorable looking boutique hotel. I'm a sucker for them.

    I miss your hair !!

    Slightly more appetizing looking dishes.

The rest were. Spoilt by the distracting pink tablecloth. So no pictures.

    Still delicious though !

And, we're actually plotting and strategizing how best to attack and assassinate the Italian man living opposite us.

    These are the blueprints.

Okay. That's lame, but really felt that way though ! The bed was strewn with paper.

Thank you Ruizhang for being such a wonderful teacher !! Though, you can be a little fierce and intimidating. Hehehe.

He's whirling around to check out that girl's cleavage.

    HAHAHA !

Okay la. I was the one who informed him about it.

    And that's it for my 20th !

Had a really good time. Thanks for the gifts, and thank you Ruizhang for being so lovely, waiting while I got my massage, and for picking up after me, and of course, putting up with my tantrums.

    Hehe.

    Until our 21st ya everybody?

    Goodnight darlings. (:
