Welcome to my blog !

Hey guys !

Created this space years and years ago thus do forgive
me if it comes off as extremely cheesy. And the incredibly
tacky name. Haha, I get chills everytime I lay eyes on it.
Too lazy to change things though !

I love to write, so have kept myself updating over the years.
I hope you guys enjoy reading me ! ♥

    Sawatdee ka !

    Just returned from BKK a couple days ago and I miss it so terribly already. );

I thought 7 days was a pretty long time to be there, but it was so great ! We were running around practically every second of everyday.

I would have thought we were gonna pig out everyday and have like 5 meals a day but boy, was I wrong. We were soooo busy looking and buying and walking and looking that we only managed to eat twice a day. Twice. In bangkok.

The time just flew by the seven days and I seriously think my legs were operating on auto pilot mode. Haha !

Anyhoooo ! Some photos of the first 2 days of our trip.

    Day 1

On the way to Changi, always love this part of the journey ! The coming home part's always the worst. ):

Oh, and it was so unfortunate that I found myself falling sick exactly one day before the trip. Sore throat, flu, the works.

Thus, I was a super cranky travel companion at the start, and he was more than accommodating. ),,: Thanks B. Hehe, thankfully, everything let up into the 3rd/4th day and so did my spirits ! Hehehe.

We always pick our hotels with the help from Trip Advisor, and this time we (or I) picked 2 !

I know, its kind of silly to have to switch hotels midway, but I'm a terrible sucker for little boutique hotels with their little quirks and I wanted the experience !

I didn't regret it cause the second one was pretty ! Will post photos in the next post. :D

The first one was at Baan K managed by Bliston.

I don't know if this one exceeded our expectations, but we did grow to love it I think.

It's one of the most functional hotel rooms I've ever stayed in, complete with a perfect vanity table. I missed that in our 2nd hotel. Think about it. Which hotel includes vanity tables??

It seems like we always have to do our make up in the toilet or perched uncomfortable before a mirror somewhere.

Was impatient so we headed to Platinum first. Spend the first and last few days there.

Love love love this place !

I remember there only used to be one building but now there's 2? All the better ! Hehehe.

    First meal there.

It was all the sick sniffy me had in myself to stomach. Haha, looks sad I know but it was yummy ! La dee da !

Barely snapped any pics during our shopping, but we'll show you guys what we bought next time ! Lol ! Yes, we actually bothered to lay everything out on the last night.

Like I said, I was impatient so we headed straight to Som Boon to eat after Platinum that night.

The food's not exactly the best of the best but it's still good. I love eating there !

If you ever head there though, you gotta be careful of the taxi drivers.

Because this place is pretty well known, there are lots of fake outlets lying around and taxis who'll receive commission when they bring you there.

This taxi driver insisted he was gonna bring us to that street and in all the haggling, I heard him say 'this Som Boon better !'. I was all like huh??? Why better?? What you mean better???

Nobody answered me though /: and in all the hoolabaloo we got on his scammer cab.

So exasperating these cab drivers ! We encountered so many more like him, think I'm gonna list them out the next post. Hmp.

Detoured and detoured but we finally got there, so all was good.

So hungry forgot to snap pics. Haha.

Took a long stroll after that was all for our first day. (:

Crazy food in Thailand is so crazy cheap it's crazy.

The Siam malls were not really for us so we left after touring the place. Completely. Hahahahaha, the both of us like won't give up one. Cannot miss out anything.

    Shibuya 19

    Headed to Shibuya 19 after.

We told the cabbie to head to Baiyoke tower 2 but stopped here cause we spotted it and it was on our shopping list.

Haha ! I thought we were so smart !! Turned out that this mall in just opposite Platinum. -__-

    Photobucket

It's a pretty new mall so not everything is up to date yet. Still worth a look though ! (:

Walked through Pratunam wholesale market after (I'd skip that place) and went up Baiyoke tower 2.

The bottom floors are stocked with terrible men's shirt but the top floor was interesting.

T shirts, bags- I loved the tortoise shelled shades I saw there but unfortunately I don't put on shades in Singapore.

Great place for guys, self designed graphic tees everywhere if you're into that sort of thing. Don't think I saw much of their stuff anywhere else in Bkk. (:

Night time brought us back to the Siam area, and we visited Siam square opposite Siam paragon.

That's officially one of my favourite places now. Night shopping is bustling and rows and rows of the latest Bangkok trends to look at !

Settled our dinner on the streets, so brave right !!!

Haha, I hear food poisoning's a norm if you have food from the streets there but we were lucky. Not even a hint of stomach discomfort ! Hoho !! :DDD

Random 4D ride on the streets of Siam Sq. Yes, we did it. Holiday leh why not???

Hahaha, but I just HAD to go pick House of Horrors. Missed half the thing.

    That's it for the first 2 days ! (:

Did alot more the next few, more photos on that soon ! Muack !
