Went back to Dad's for a couple of days. Got some rest. Was pampered for awhile before I whisked right back to Singapore.

It's odd how I've been feeling so sick recently. Just heading out for awhile draws me.

Must be getting old before my time !

Anyhow, it's been a really good month in all.

It's nice to feel like everything's falling into place once again.

Oh ! And excitement's building up for the trip with my darling girls in two weeks. Hehe. Can't wait to buy some stuff.

And something finally arrived in my mail theother day. :D

Love that feeling of receiving my ordered items, nevermind big or small.

Feels like they're coming so rarely now. Guess it's good news that I'm not buying stuff online everyday anymore. Hahah.

And guess who's birthday came this month??

Hehe.

Oh. And Meixian's too but photos are with her ! Hope she enjoyed her 20th with us too.

Had a really nice time seeing you open your gifts and all that.

Was a shame I was feeling a little drawn that day too. But it was such a nice day !

It's too bad birthdays only come round once a year.

Thanks for coming over when I needed help though. I'll make sure my surprises get carried out properly the next time.

Heeeheeeeheee. Not forgetting, it's the season of the World Cup !

So exciting can. Wished I wouldn't even miss one game but alas. Not all things are meant to be.

Let's just enjoy it while it lasts.

It feels so nice to be able to sit down with my Dad watching football.

Such a change to no longer being that little kid sulking in the corner and hating on him for not being able to watch my channels and having to be stuck with that blaring monotonous commentator.

And to think that he would actually agree on the comments that I make about the game !

I feel like a real amateur talking soccer to someone who's been following the game passionately for decades though. Lolol.

I'm betting my money on Germany for the win ! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee !

It's the month of June.

And yes. The mid year mark for 2010.

Time sure flies by and in these moment, I wished it would slow.

Hahaha. Not for next couple of days though. Yet another IT shows round the corner. Just tomorrow actually and strength be with us all who are involved in it. Loll.

Met up with Xiao Han the day before for dinner. Was late a couple of hours from the time we initially agreed upon. It's becoming an awful habit- my dillydallying around.

Went to Watami for dinner ! My first time there and after an approximate 30 minutes of queue, finally, we got to sit down and start on our dinner.

The food was pretty okay. Better than so many of the other mainstream Japanese restaurants we see popping up faster than we can keep up each day.

The bubbling egg with the chicken katsu was extremely comforting as my first meal for the day and Xiao Han seemed happy enough with her salmon sashimi and omelette.

Shame I've never been one to relish eating raw fish. It must be really good for so many people to adore it.

Oh ! On a sidenote ! I got to go try out the new Wasabi Tei (now renamed as Chikuwa Tei (but whether or not it's opened by the same grumpy boss is still a little grey to us)). Standard wasn't as good but ! I still enjoyed the meal a whole lot.

Well. I'll save that and pictures of it for another post.
