Let me blog a little.
Pardon my endless dronings. The below are all nothing of particular importance.
Lol. My week has been... mediocre, what with school and all. It seems that the lecturers in SP have all agreed to come down harder on us for our attendance. I'm supposed to arrive in class no later than fifteen minutes to be considered present ! That is something I find extremely difficult to comply with and it frustrates me to no end in the morning.
Usually, even if I do get up at an earlier time, I seem to still end up being late. How does that even happen?
Lol. Anyways, besides that, in less than one week, I've fallen down twice !
):
The first time was actually much worse than the second.
Being my usual daydreaming self, the head of my flip flops actually tripped over the bus stop ledge while I was getting off the bus.
At Orchard no less. I landed on my knee, face down (ok la. maybe it's somewhere along that position but my face never got close to kissing the floor).
Luckily I used my palms to stop me from really falling face down leh !
That Wen Hao who was walking ahead of me turned around only to realize that he couldn't find me anywhere. (because i was sprawled on the floor)
...
Of course then, I stood up, called his name and displayed my (slightly) grazed knee to show him. And that after that of course whine whine whine la.
Eh although never bleed alot but pain okay! ): Someore so humiliating. The people at the bus stop just "Oh!" and look down at the fallen me. Hm, Singaporeans.
At least after getting laughed at, the very traumatized me got free dinner to eat la. Yay !
Wanted to post a picture of my injury (i know, i am extremely lame), which is now I am pleased to say, been reduced to being nothing more than a 50cents sized itchy scab. Aha !
But then realized my Mac has no SD card reader. Hm. Still, it's lovely ! (:
Hehee.
And then today !! The afternoon downpour made it so hard for me to walk to Dover MRT from school. I was scared to death of slipping and falling! Wet smooth granite floor DO NOT go well with half year old flip flops.
Do you even know how it feels to have your feet slide several times while walking on wet floors? Very scary lo ! Some may think it's very exhilarating la. Can fasten the heartbeat. But not me. Every time my feet slides my heart becomes very weak. ): Hehee.
So I walk slowly, looking very silly, with really small steps all the way to the MRT with the harsh rain splashing. (got shelter la. but shelter never protect rain from the side ma)
So slowly but surely, I made it to the MRT station which allowed me to banish all precautions against falling from my mind.
I took the escalator to the platform, STILL, with the rain splashing on my head. I was so caught up in wondering where the rain was coming from, considering that the MRT station has a roof over itself, I step off the escalator, and lo and behold !
I slipped and fell in like a split second.
...
Luckily not peak period after school ar. If not daaaamn pai seh. Then there was this poor elderly uncle in front of my who seemed liek he got the shock of his life.
Hahahaha. He kept repeating in chinese, "be careful, slippery".
In my state of pai sehness and a hammering heart I simply nodded and stood up to walk further away.
I guess the lucky part was that the wet smooth floor did not hurt me at all. Well, except to my pride la. And my palm was throbbing cause I used it to block the fall.
Lol. How very fortunate.
The moral of the story is ! Thank God for palms and their usefulness during falling frenzies.
I now know what rigid and strong bones i have. (:
Hehee.
And now, sleep. Goodnight again !
