Sushi again.
Good evening !
I know I know. I just updated yesterday and I'm updatting again today. I'm just so hardworking. Haha !
It's just that I went to Ichiban Sushi today and I'd really like to update on the experience while the flavours are still fresh on my tongue.
(it IS kind of beginning to fade)
One very important reason for this post.
I think that Ichiban tastes many many times better than Sakae !
This is what we had. Heheee... my brother had the Teri Don on the left while I had the Katsu Don. Mine looks disgusting with the egg and that two peas thingy but I assure you, it tastes great ! Had a super eggy flavour. We had alot of sushi too (but my mother and brother gobbled them up before my laggy camera phone could even scream "cheese!").
Haha ! The sushis are done very finely and there's really more to choose from then Sakae.
(sorry ar Sakae)
But then again Sakae charges like $1.90 for their Chawanmushi (steamed egg) while Ichiban charges $3.90 ! That's alot of difference for egg. Yi fen qian yi fen huo la... the Ichiban's egg had chicken and even Luo Han Guo plus all the other usual ingredients... very nice...
(if you're reading this at night with an empty stomach or in your lecture with an empty stomach... then i'm really sorry) Hehee !
I know I'm wu liao to go on so long on this minor topic but it's really quite rare to have sushis on both days back to back !
(you begin thinking, "this Rachael is so lame. i think i'll just close her site right here and now.)
(haa ! fine ! close it. but i'll just let you know that this is actually my very clever strategy to drone on about boring stuff and then ! ... only allow those truly worthy to drink in my valuable remaining paragraphs.)
Plus. I am both the writer and reader of my own blog. And I told myself that I would like to read about sushis and sushi ingredients today so that's why I'm writing all these. So there.
La dee da. The reader is actually my alter ego while the writer is the original me !
My alter ego is more of a bimbo and less smart and that's why she can only read and not write.
But to have an alter ego smart enough to read my writing is really already mighty brilliant and so thus, I can officially conclude that the original me is of twice the brilliance- while my alter ego is only brilliant.
(also, my alter ego demanded that i mention her in the post)
Hahahahahhahaaa... now I find my closest friends squirming and recoiling in their seats wondering if one of their closest friends have always been this mad. Lol.

Oh ya... sushi. By the way. My mother was being funny and kept ordering miso soup which both my brother and me hates. We both think that miso soup is a plain waste of money and it is a wonder that it comes from Japan.
There were like 5 bowls of miso soup on our table and only three of us.
I think I'll end here.

Anyways, my brother really grows fast. Here are his photos. I wanted to take photos of my mother but she was sitting beside me and it was quite hard to do. Only can shoot my boring brother. Boo. He is indifferent to my camera phone and commands for him to pose. All he does is eat and wipes his mouth.
Haha. I think everyone I know seems to be a glutton.

Yo hoo ho hooo, a pirate's life for me.
Yes, I just caught Pirate's of the Caribbean: At World's End yesterday !
I'm guessing that this is going to be quite a long post... once again with me droning on about nothing much of great importance. But I dare say it would be very entertaining ! So must read word for word hor. Hehee.
First that's on the list. Si Ying, Mei Xian and I went to have Sakae's buffet yesterday afternoon !
Eh. Look at the array of sushis. I know. Some of you might say Sakae's sushi is... bleh. Ichiban's better. I agree entirely ! But Ichiban doesn't have buffet ma.
Didn't you know, we're all gluttons. HAHA !
We ate and ate and ate... it was great satisfaction to see the many coloured plates pile high...
Quite alot right? There was more but the waitress cleared most of the plates away. Hmp.
Zi Qi came to join us at around 5pm. I had already bought tickets to the movie before and we were due in the theatre's at 6.10pm !
We hurried up to gobble our last few bites and quickly bade goodbye to Mei Xian and Si Ying.
Within moments we were comfortably settled in the the seats of the theatre.
So... how was the movie you asked?
Er... it was very much like Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.
Let's just say Pirate's of the Caribbean turned out to be a love story with a piratey shell.
Ahoy mateys! I am a pirate and I am in looove !
Zi Qi and I both agreed that it was very luan... and abit draggy. Lol.
If you're not one of those who thinks that big summer blockbusters like this can't be missed, well, you should miss it.
It felt like a good writer who had a good story to tell- but he just didn't tell it right. The movie lasted an entire 2 hours 50 mins.
' Singapore ' was mentioned many times in the movie. Zhou Ren Fa was... funny. Kierra Knightley was a pretty face... while Orlando Bloom was just...

Hai. It pains me to think that the Lord of the Rings trilogy has ended so soon. He looked nice even with pointy ears and long blonde rebonded hair.
I think my son will no longer look like a Taiwanese or Hong Kong star. He shall look like just like Orlando Bloom. Curls and all. Whoever said Q hair is disgusting. Huh. HUH???

It's a relief to know that most movies have good names.
Badly named movies would be like... Gothika. What's THAT? I caught that movie, it starred Halle Berry and was really good. I doubt many of you have seen it. Which is understandable. How many would agree to watch a movie named Gothika?
And you realize there's SO many movies that starts with... THE. The the the. Tsk. No creativity. So straightforward.
Movies with the best names are undoubtedly romantic comedies ! Yay !
Music and Lyrics is one. I think it's a great name don't you?
Last but not least... the movie I've awaited for FOREVER. It's Ocean's Thirteen !
Yay ! Ocean's Eleven and Ocean's Twelve was really good.

Ocean's Thirteen. There's like three of Hollywood's biggest names. It's Matt Damon, George Clooney and Brad Pitt !
In the Eleven and Twelve, there was Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta Jones. Hai. I would have like to see them in Thirteen.

There's still a few stars that I didn't name. How often do we see so many big stars playing thieves?! O ya... in Hong Kong movies.
Which reminds me... I do think that George Clooney is like... Hollywood's Andy Lau. It should really be Andy Lau being Hong Kong's George Clooney... but. Aiya. Same thing la. He just gets more suave as he gets older.

Saw Prison Break on channel 5 thursday. I may have finished the entire Season two but it's still nice to see Scofield looking stress on tv. Season three will only be out in August. That stinks.

There's Agent Alex Mahone and Scofield looking a little little bit fat. Bah. So what. It's the lighting la. Scofield's my hero ! And so is Alex Mahone. He's a great character. You'll see why.

It was funny. There were alot of those little lines in their conversation that you had to catch.
But to all those who often misses these little lines in movies, there were alot of slapstick comedy in the movie too. Those that you would understand by just opening your eyelids and looking at the widescreen.

Hello !
Haha. Ignore my hearty greeting because I am actually feeling down now.
12:50am now. Sunday. Feeling extremely tired but I insist on posting. Went to New York New York with my best friends a couple of hours ago. Wanted to try the place for the longest time and finally got the chance.
(they quite pei he wo. hehee. i think they knew i wanted to eat it badly!)
It was okay. Had quite a good atmosphere I think.
We ate and ate until we were really stuffed.
American food lo. Large portion. Colourful. Tasted... American.
Oh ya. Also, Wei Ting brought her Joshua to let us have a look through. Haha.
After the dinner, Elaine's mother gave us a lift home.
It seems like just yesterday when I first met Elaine in school. And everyone else. Now she's going to be gone for six months and will only be back in December. I know she'll be online most of the time and all that but still, it just wouldn't be the same.
I wonder how things will be like- in December. Time is a really powerful thing.
Felt really sad in the car. It was one of those rides that I wished would go on forever. Where everyone could just be stuck in the car and...
Lol. You know. Ride.
Get this feeling all the time. It's horrible. In cabs. In cars. I hate it !
Sure we all have disagreements an times, but we'll still stick up for each other in the end.
That's friends right?
It's really quite impossible to find people who gets you like you get them. Lol. And people who understand you like others never will.

On yesterday.
I'm talking to Jun Wen now and I just complained to him that my blogger has problems. He says he knows. That I've been nagging about it in my blog. Haha ! I nag meh?! Only aunties nag. And everyone knows I'm a starlet. Not an auntie.
Hee. No la. I'm kidding.
Never mind about that. So I nag. Fine. I'm intending for this to be a super long post with ALOT of pictures so please bear with me. Haha.
Just let me nag and hit my quota for today CAN? Lol.
Went out with my group of friends yesterday. Was much too tired to blog about it. Lol. Spent my time in the midnight transferring the photos from my phone to my com. Looked through each of them carefully and decided which ones I would put on my blog. Hehee.
Yesterday was nice ! I met Mei Xian first and walked over to Causeway Point with her. We were supposed to meet at 11pm... Mei Xian and I met at 11.30pm at the bus stop.
Arrived at Causeway Point... waited around for them. Wei Ting came next. Lol. About half an hour later.
Elaine and Si Ying finally arrived at... 1pm? It was around there.
Now you know who are the ones who takes the LONGEST time to prepare !!!
Met up with Ziqi later because she had some important stuff to do.
Headed to Lucky Plaza to play pool !
There's Zi Qi and Si Ying. And there's Wei Ting and me taking a break. Wei Ting's hiding under the table.

Hahahaha. NO LA. She's sitting next to the camera with Elaine and Mei Xian.
I think I look peaceful in this photo. HAHA. They said I was abit dull during pool halfway. No lo.
Pool makes me tired sometimes.
Played for about 2 hours. I think Elaine, Mei Xian, Si Ying and Zi Qi almost wanted to strangle us. Almost.
Then came Jun Wen and Jia Hao. LOL.
Da Jia Hao.
Because we have two Jia Haos in our group...
One is super tall, while another is smaller. Considering that the taller one is insanely tall at 187cm?... we named him Da Jia Hao. While the smaller Jia Hao was conveniently named Xiao Jia Hao.
Hehee. Our group are really so brilliant. Now we can identify them easily !!!
Okay. Let me continue.
So in walks Jun Wen and Jia Hao. Hehe.
Over here I imagine Jia Hao waving with his ' i am siao ' smile and screaming,
" Da Jia Hao !!! I'm Da Jia Hao !!!".
Say it out loud. It's hilarious !
Hehee. That was our little joke during dinner. I find it so funny. Hahahaha...
Okay. So they came. And played pool too. For awhile. Then we paid and left.
Hehee. Like I often say, we really shouldn't take things that we have for granted.
So just let me add, it's nice to be finally over 16.
Finally went over to Marina Bay to have steamboat. To be honest, I was a little upset because I do not like steamboat. I detest having steamboat even more when it is in an oily and steamy and dirty and thirsty and humid environment. So I guess Wei Ting and me were quite grumpy about having to pay $12 to be baked in the steamboat place.
We're so spoilt.
But again, what can be better than having the best of friends fooling around together in an oily and steamy and dirty and thirsty and humid environment?Nothing else.
Unless it's a dinner with Edison Chen, Daniel Wu, Louis Koo, Yan Ya Lun and of course Wentworth Miller. And Tobey Maguire. And Andry Lau. And a very prettily dressed me. Hehee. And a starry starry night. Hahahahahahaahaa ! Then maybe I'd consider that to be slightly better then having dinner with my best of friends.
. . . What?! LOL. Alright. I'll try to sidetrack less often. Hehee.
So we ate. And ate. Zheng Xiang, Xiao Jia Hao, Daisy and Ji Xu came to join us soon after. They plopped down on the plastic chairs without paying the $12.
Like I said, we're brilliant.
So we continued eating. And eating. And taking photos. And eating. And taking photos. And eating. Lol.
I forgot to mention it was Xiao Jia Hao's birthday that night. We couldn't get him a present in time... or a cake.
But Zi Qi and I came up with something else.
It's pretty right? Ahahaha. We had a hard time getting the candle. But the uncle at the provision shop finally agreed to present the candle to us at my second visit. Lol.
We sang Happy Birthday and had him blow out the candle.

Just to let you know, this post is just about what happened to me today. Nothing much interesting. But must update ma. Though it's like midnight.
So many of my fans keep complaining that I seldom update.

I wonder if you've realized that the weather is scorching recently.
It is hot- and I don't mean that in a good way. Lol.
It is hot and humid !!! I hate it. It's giving me insomnia.
To top it all of, the stupid blogger is having problems !!! I can't bold my words or make it bigger... OR change it's colour. It's resulted in an anti updating mood.
( if anyone has any idea how to solve this, you can let me know ! )
Let me add again that the weather is really REALLY HOT. It's so hot, my head is spinning.

I arrived in school today all the while tolerating the intolerable weather.
Got off the train in Jurong East to switch to another one.
Saw one of my Cartel colleague.
Ahahaha. I said hi to him ! We took the same train and during the train ride we talked abit about school.
I remember that he's in his last year. How I envy him. I told him that I didn't really like Poly life. Too dull. Not all that. Lol. I expected him to retaliate saying something like,
" No la ! You in your first year only, that's why you'll feel that way... ". Bla bla.
You know.
But instead he ended abit sian-ly,
" Ya lo... it's like that one la. Singapore Poly. Very no life one.".

It's been some time.
Watched Spiderman last night and I loved it !
Hai... it was worth all the $9.50 I payed.
The movie wasn't Titanic, but still, I think it was perfect.
Perfectly stunning.
They actually managed to squeeze the entire movie into the 2 hours + !
It was everything you could want in a movie. Never was there a dull moment.
Most who caught the movie ( this is including all the little reviews I recieved in school today ), went on about how Tobey McGuire wasn't very good looking.
Most of them added that his best friend aka Green Goblin Jr was much cuter !
Well, I think that Peter Parker was perfect.
So... he's not very tall...
So... he doesn't have a headful of thick hair...
So... he gets a little egoistic at times...
But he's just so... CUTE- when he was holding the flowers and had his hair all combed back with that thick gel. LOL. They really showed him as a person in this one.
Correct already la. Must show his vulnerable side ma ! He is person also !
Haha... I never really thought I would be watching Spiderman in this way. I always thought.

You know everytime I saw the poster of Spiderman from like months ago... I'd be thinking. I wonder if I'll be watching it with... you know. And if we'd both be in Poly ! That would be so great. I mean if we got into Poly.
That was when I was worrying day and night about my O's results.
Everytime I saw the poster or walked pass the Spiderman countdown thingy in Somerset, my heart would skip. It's in May ! I wonder if I'd be schooless then ! I wonder if everyone will be watching it after school and I'd be the only one... no school. No mood to watch Spiderman.
And it's May now ! Haha.
We're ALL in Poly ! ( and some JC la ) It wasn't so hard was it?
